Food for Thought

I read a quote - "One can't achieve the impossible without attempting the absurd."

What do you think about it? Do you agree with it? If so, what does it mean to you? If not, how would you rewrite it?

I'd revise the quote to read, "One can't achieve the impossible without being willing to appear absurd."

Whether one will be forced to resort to means that would otherwise be absurd might be debatable. But, no matter what, step one would be checking the ego at the starting gate.

Good thought! Maybe we should also check the expectations at the starting gate. That way we can logically evaluate the outcome even if it doesn't turn out the way we thought it should.
