Focus on Health

Health is sometimes defined as the absence of disease. While that seems like an oversimplification, it is the essence of the content for this blog. I am a registered nurse, a master's level counselor and an ordained pastor. My ministry is helping people be healthy: physically, emotionally and spiritually. When I visualize our lives, I see us on a path. We naturally are moving toward health but there are rocks in the way. Those rocks might be poor nutrition, disease, poverty, poor self esteem, traumatic memories, sin, or a hundred other things. If we can get those rocks out of the way, we can move closer to being healthy in every aspect of our lives.

What do you see as rocks in your life? What do you do with them?
